  1. What is the FIFA Interactive World Cup?
    “The Official Football Game Competition sponsored by FIFA to decide the Worlds No.1 (game player)”
    The game is played using Electronic Arts game soft, “FIFA 10”, PlayStation®3 version. It is an official Football Game authorized by FIFA the world governing body of association football, where representatives from countries and areas around the world compete to become the World Champion of “FIFA 10”. 32 players from around the world will be elected online and offline, and compete in Barcelona, Spain on May 1 for the Grand Final (Final round). The champion will receive $20,000 as prize money and will also be invited to the 2010 FIFA World Player GALA Ceremony where FIFA World Player of the Year will be selected, as the FIFA Interactive World Cup Champion,

  2. How to qualify
    ■ To be high ranked in the online event played on PlayStation®3
    First Event : 12/ 1/2009-1/18/2010(finished)10 players(1 player from Asia)
    Second Event : 1/4/2010-3/31/2010(ongoing)11 players(2 player from Asia)

    ■ Participate in the Live Qualifying Round Event played in 10 countries around the world.
    The event will be held at 10 venues in Australia, Brazil, Denmark, France, Italy, Japan, Poland, Russia, South Africa and England.

  3. To participate in the Japan round

    • No limitations on age or nationality.
      *Participants under 18 years old need approval from their guardian.
    • There are two ways to participate, online or offline.

      How to participate online

    • There are 2 ways to apply offline.
      1) Apply in advance through the WEB and be selected by lottery and
      2)Apply at the event venue on the day of the event in a first-come-first served basis.
    • Application in advance can be done on the WEB from the website entry reception.
    • For application on the event day, please apply at the reception in the venue.
    • Players are able to participate on the offline round from outside of Japan.
      * Please understand that Japanese will be used at the venue.

    ■ Offline Round and Grand Final

    • Qualifying games will be held at Tokyo and Osaka to select winners to compete at the Final games in Tokyo.
    • Maximum of 32 players will compete in a tournament form at the offline round.4 players from Osaka and 4 players from Tokyo round, total of 8 players will participate at the final tournament in Tokyo and compete for the Grand Final.
    • The winner of the final tournament will receive the right to participate in the Grand Final in Barcelona, Spain.

    Reception : 14:00 -

    Expected finish time : 17:30
    There will be a 30 minutes guidance time for the winners.


    Tokyo Round : March 21, (Sun.) 2010
    Reception : 10:30 -
    Start : 11:30 -
    Expected finish time : 12:50


    Tokyo Final : March 21, (Sun.) 2010
    Start : 13:45 -
    Expected finish time : 15:45
    *Tokyo Qualifying Round and the Finals will be held on the same day.
    *The winner of the Tokyo Qualification Round will continue to participate in the finals.

  6. Watch the competition & Trial of FIFA 10
    The event will not only be for the competition participants but visitors will be able to watch the games.
    Visitors will also be able to try the game at the venue so please come and enjoy.
    *Please understand that the number of spectators may be limited depending on the situation on the event day.
